Visit California participates at SATTE 2015
Announces the launch of – a travel trade website

Visit California participated at SATTE 2015, South Asia’s leading travel & tourism event being held from January 29 to 31, 2015 at the Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds in New Delhi. During this three-day event, Visit California connected with and renewed relations with the Indian travel trade, including establishing new partnerships. SATTE 2015 is the ideal platform to share information on new California tourism products and developments.

As part of the continuous endeavor to build and strengthen its relationships with Indian travel agencies, Visit California also announced the launch of its travel trade website - Equipped with many useful tools, the portal provides “one-stop” information access to travel agents. From images and videos to event details happening in California, the website offers extensive and useful information for the travel trade to share with their clients. Travel agents can also access contact details of major land operators and Destination Management Companies, along with regional maps and the latest visitor statistics on California. Lastly, the website also provides maps and creative itinerary planning ideas to aid agents as their help build their client’s California itinerary.

The last few years have been a very productive for Visit California in India. Over 240,000 Indians visited California in 2013, 28% of the total number of Indian visitors to the US, an increase of 26% over 2012. In 2014, double-digit percentage growth in Indian arrivals is expected, as well.
